The Best Gaming Memes of the Week (November 29, 2023)

When I was a kid I remember being so excited to get a Wii. It felt like it was going to change everything as I knew it. The wireless technology was unfathomable, and the idea that you could play a virtual game using your body was unheard of. I played it for the first time at a friend's house and was consummately hooked. We probably played Wii Tennis (IMHO, the best of the classic Wii Sports games), and the thrill of swinging my arm around paired with the little satisfactory buzz the remote gives when you make contact with the ball, was an addictive combo. 

Like the Atari players before me and the Oculus users after me, I had that classic childhood moment of being completely consumed by a gaming console. I can only imagine what they're cooking up next. Games you can play with your mind? Games you can play in your sleep? Time shall surely tell…
